flaw sffwicwy On September 7 1948 th1rty two shy and bashful chlldren walked 1n to A H S to begm the1r f1rst year Th1s was to be called our Freshman year We were no more than settled when the Sophomores dragged out green r1bbons grease pa1nt and trlcks and we were 1n1t1ated mto A H S Then Homecom1n came alon and we were called upon to contr1bute a float whlch we cal ed Queen Fgor A Day The year ended but we had lost four members Mable Pederson Bernard Anderegg Robert Grossglauser and Stanley Johnson The second year we were called Sophomores We made another float called Sw1n Over Kohler and won second prlze Our b1 momentcame when the g1r s were asked to serve at the Annual .Tumor enlor Banquet then another year ended After three months' rest we were a a1n back 1n school to be 1na busy .Tumor year We decorated another f oat wh1ch we called 'F y to V1c tory On December 7 and 16 we presented a three act comedy play Wh1le W1fey s Aw y wh1ch was well rece1ved by our patron It was gettmg late so the call came let's eat' So we started plann1ng the Ban quet for we were hosts to the Semors faculty and school board mem Anchors Awelgh ' After such a blg meal we needed some reduc1ng and so we began lann1ng for the .Tumor Semor Prom The Prom was held Apr1l Z0 and onn Lane re1gned as Kmg crown1ng Joanne Penmston as h1s queen D n arson furn1shed the muslc w1th the theme Stardust After makmg Festlval floats for four years we f1nally rece1ved a f1rst w1th the motto Good Luck Team In our Semor year we ed1ted the school paper put out an annual and gave a Chustmas program among many th1ngs 1n our Semor year We now number 2.7 for Elton Olson d1dn't come back for the last year W1th our Sen1or ear Just about at an end we w1sh to take th1s oppor tumty to thank our r1nc1pal Mr Morgan for all the sound adV1CE that he has g1ven us and for everyth1ng else he has done for us durlng our four years We also w1sh to thank the rest of the faculty the school board the Jamtor underclassmen and parents who have made these four years 1n A H S a success And now at last the b1g moment 1S draw1ng near when we w1ll grad uate and rece1ve our d1ploma's ' I 5 ll V .Il . ll '. i H ' . . -'E l : .
