DEDICATION We, the Class of 1985, dedicate our year- book to Mr. and Mrs. Pendergrass. Mrs. P came to A.C.S. as an elementary aide in 1972 the same year that we came as kinder- garteners. She escorted us on journies to the kitchen to get our snacktime milk, and to the bathroom where her patience was tested by those of us who took a little longer than necessary. She was always there to tuck us in at naptime. Mac has been a favorite of ours ever since we used to greet him in the cafeteria with an enthusiastic Hi Mac! Eleven years later things haven't changed; we still greet our great friend with Hi Mac! As we leave Argyle we are just beginning our careers while the Pendergrasses are ending theirs. They will be missed by thier co-workers, the teachers, and us. “Mac and Rosemary Pendergrass.

PEP RALLY Ready and waiting .. take this, Joe . Follow me! Ha, Ha, Ha! Don't you feel dumb? A pep ralley is for all students who are in winter sports. Cheerleaders get the crowd doing cheers and chants to get psyched for the big game that night. Earlier in the week certain events took place such as Argyle Sock Day, Be Nice To A Player Day, Garnet and Gray day, and Spirit Day. On Garnet and Gray Day, if anyone saw Mr. Patzwald with his legs crossed, they would have noticed he wore one gray sock and one garnet sock. Meanwhile, Argyle Sock Day was complete when Mr. Miller came dressed in a pair of knickers and gray Argyle socks. Students were busy all week long making posters to try to win the poster contest. The winner of this contest got to throw the pie at the senior basketball player with the most money in his jar. This year Joey Lester Lufkin got the pie thrown in his face by Tony Howe and Chris Scoville. 4
