THE 5=S r_A55 £ F 1973 AfUYLE CEN1XKU HOOL i? x;|4Aj ljljf| EJJ pu j oNi With love and sincere gratitude we, the Class of 1973, dedicate this yearbook to those who have been the greatest influence in our lives. We couldn't begin to tell the thousands of little things you have done for us: providing rides to games and dances, not only for us but for our friends: baking cakes and cookies on a moment's notice for our bake sales; spending hundreds of dollars on things you didn’t need, only because the class was selling them: getting your cars washed even when they weren't dirty. The list is endless. Most of all, we want to thank you for your enduring patience and guidance throughout our lives. This is one small way to thank you for giving us the opportunity for a rich, full life. XOX We, the Class of 1973, dedicate this yearbook to our parents. , QJU I iff0 DjiJ NZ (T | IU_ cercii pt- — « i— 22. n_ _ _ it— Pu £Z 3 =L Q 3 uu 5pL-_0 QJLl JU_1L) T C33 3 2: |° „ S O m a— Kf'r® t= Cj) n n _ OjP (U-Q ( oJ - --jr dtf3 D_l) (Ln -- 22 JV __H ZX.OJ QJU (fl tf p---(O aQJLj n L= NO s 0—Z3 DQ— 0jl_(1jl 5p n, r „VQju gr df O dJL. Haggard faces, yawns, and sleepy hellos” welcome you to another day. The bell rings and, like a thousand mornings before, you shuffle off to class . . The day wears on and so do you; classes come and go. As the teacher drones on about electromagnetics or vocabulary words, it seems the period will never end. Time slows down to a crawl. Not that school’s all that boring; there are many interesting challenges; an in- solvable math problem ... a typewriter that doesn't work . . . never an eraser when you need one. The familiar over- powering stench of sweat and deodorant hits you - it's gym class! That one period in the day when you can hit. kick, and scream at will. That may not be what Mrs. Page and Mr. VanDeusen think but . . . School is lunchtime - freedom, joy, and food. It's football and hop- scotch, birthday parties and staying away from Mr. Holton. Never was an hour of school put to better use than sixth period, whether it's shooting the breeze or writing your name on the walls . a classroom is a class- room, but a scarred wall is a memory forever. tv KU 3:20 AT LAST!!! Can’t get out of school fast enough! !!! A coach's life is one of agony, sweat, and the sweetness of a one-point victory over Warrensburg. So what if you've got 5 tests today and a term paper due tomorrow? So what? Ice skating's a lot more fun. School is for friends, for sharing joys and sorrows, for having a good time together. Forget your frustra- tions and struggles. These are the good old days. Enjoy. MH MH CANNOT 4 0? %T R v=v-T-7: 6 uaj TH S RUTH AMELIA ANDERSON DAVID ALLAN BALLARD ANGELO C.
