The two other teams tied for first place were Hartford and Salem, each with seven wins and three losses. Then come the play off, which was held on the South Glens Falls Court. The first night Argyle played Hartford and Hartford played Salem for the finals in which Salem won by a score of 48 to 33. This year we lost only two players frem the varsity, Ted Olsenwick and Merritt Reynolds and thus will be expecting a fine team next year. Ted Olsenwik, Bob Yartcr, Merritt Reynolds, Victor Ruby, Bob Carruthers and Manager Rowland Knowlton. The scoring for each individual in league play are as follows: John Olsenwik 134 Merritt Reynolds 16 Don Durkee 75 Donald Abrahamson 9 Ted Olsenwik 62 Emerson Grant 0 Bob Yarter 36 Bob Carruthers 0 David Bain 34 Victor Ruby 0 The total for the year is 366 points. The Junior Varsity had a fairly good season this year under the direction of Coach Whit- man. Next year Coach Whitman will be using most of the players to strengthen his Varsity.
