One Sunday in the year of 1958, we decided to take a ride. After spending the morn- ing in Lake George visiting Dorothy N. who is secretary for the lawyer, Bullis, we stop- ped in at the Blue Skies for dinner. Much to our surprise we found Teddy O. as owner. We enjoyed our dinner while watching Josephine R. as star entertainer. After chatting with them, we started back to Glens Falls. As we stopped for a red light, a car came zoom- ing out of a side street. After making sure everyone was still alive, much to our surprise we find an old classmate, Merritt R. a negligent driver. We guess Merritt’s farming ruin- ed his eye sight. Gerry G. a contractor for the Adirondack Contractors Association was on vacation and was a passenger in Merritt’s car. He was suffering from a broken leg. We all decided we should go to the hospital with him. Here we found Bob Y. as head surgeon and his wife the former Ruth McG. as his nurse. After leaving him in their capable care, we started back to Argyle. On the way we saw a sign which read “Richards-Stout Nursery.” Rae was outside talking to her future husband. We stopped and talked for awhile. Jewel joined us and we talked over the days spent in Argyle Central. By this time we thought we’d like an ice cream sundae so we stopped at Minor’s ice cream bar, walked in and saw Betty T. who is now secretary for Mr. Stevens. Mr. Stevens happens to be the principal of Hudson Falls High School. Ruth M. was with Betty. Ruth is a dental hygienist working for Dr. £rost. Leaving Betty and Ruth, we stopped in Fort Edward at Corsall’s restaurant where we enjoyed a spaghetti supper with Alice and Bob. It was getting late so we decided to hit the trail for Argyle where Mary and Rick lived. Mary was teaching Home Ec. in Ar- gyje Central School. Marge returned home to get her husband’s supper. We both agreed that the day had been a pleasant one and we enjoyed seeing all our former classmates. Signed Marjorie Tripp Mary Reid
