THE 1981 I-IUMECOMIN Q EE IS The 1081 Homecoming crown was placed on the head of Senior Kim Heuer on November 25. Kim Thompson, also a senior, was named first runner- up, Pam Rowe, a junior, was elected second runner- up. The Argos basketball team won the game that evening with a close score of 53-48 against North Miami. 1 -- Second runner-up Pam Rowe poses with escort Tom Mechling. Z -- junior candidate Marilyn Houin asked Mike Alford to accompany her. 3 - Chris Andrews and Tammy McCowen, a sophomore candidate, seem to be very happy. 4 - Angie Thompson, sophomore, and Chris Stults wait for the results. 5 -- john O'Dell and freshman candidate, Robyn Gonzales, are anxiously awaiting the outcome. o ---- Tracy Staner, freshman candidate, and escort Phil Savage enjoy a special moment. IN SOU D The annual Variety Show was held on November 13 1981 The show was directed by Pamela Huber and Sandra Burroughs The audience enjoyed hu mor music and even a magic act Opposite Page Kevin VanDuyne sings the song He Aint Heavy 2 A girls quartet shows their friendship to each other by singing Side By Side 1 - These young men tell everyone how happy they are to be country boys. 2. - Sharlene Stults steals the hearts of the audi- ence by singing I Honestly Love You. 3 - The new flag girls do a routine with canes to the song of Celebration. 4 - Miss Robbin Lerch the math teacher here at Argos plays 'The Swan on her cello. 5 - Melinda Leffert displays her talents by singing I am a Promise. 6 - Arnold Shufelt and Rod Miller do a comedy act, joe Schmo. 7 - The clarient trio did a Soft Shoe Dance.
