Herhert C. Swanson President N Frank A. Hrodnrtt Secretary BOARD OF EDUCATION The Board of Education functions as a hoard of direc- tors and delegates actuat administration of the schoot program to Principal Charles E. Wingo. That the members have taken personal interest in student welfare and student surroundings can he seen in our campus regulations. The Board, which meets once a month, has tong heen recognized for its capahitity and efficiency in managing the affairs of the high school. To make it possihte for the seniors to spend more time on the editorial wort: ot this yearbook than on Finan- ciat campaigning the Board made a generous donation to the Argoiite fund. The seniors are indeed appreciative of this move which allowed them more time tor educa- tional instruction in connection with preparing the copy f or publication. Because of their desire that the faculty he as wett- iufonned as possihte, that they tcnew att the tatest and especially the hest in educative procedure, the Board, acting upon suggestion hy Mr. Xvingo, approved two in- novations at the high school - a professional tihrary for the use of the tacutty memhers and attendance ot depart- inentat representatives at the state meetings.
