Mustang Club president, Paula Curran, slit the envelope containing the name of the elected winner, and the students burst into applause as Jacki Snyder was introduced as the 1964-65 homecoming queen. Surrounded by her attendants, Colleen Staggs, Becky Sparks, Gayle Stroud, and Jeannie Adkins, Jacki was presented with the traditional kiss and bouquet of red roses by the football co- captains, Alva Thomas and Mike Wood.
