( The hands of Stanley Bon- ham show the patience and training it takes to paint a picture. Of course, a sharp imagination and good ar- tistic ability make the final masterpiece something above the average draw- ing. Mary Glenn is the instructor. Classroom Antics Richard Brown operates the automatic cutting torch while practicing his possible future vocation in T. I. Matthew's welding class. The machine operated by Richard is one of many varieties in the shop section. Argentine has the distinction of being one of the ten best vocationally equipped high schools west of the Miss- issippi River. 23

This group, consisting of 27 senior high students, is known as the top vocal group at Argentine high. Their performing attire was simple black sheath dresses for the girls and white dinner jockets and black trousers for the boys. With a smile on their faces and a song in their hearts, these girls, decked in red sheath dresses highlighted by a white jacket trimmed with red rick-rac and buttons, performed as the Harmonettes. They, like the Choral iers, participated in the vocal programs of the school and for various civic organizations.
