Homecoming Spirit Week The Spirit Week activities were the best they had ever been. A tug-of-war Wednesday started them off. It was held over the notorious “Pit” (a four-foot deep pool of slimy mud). The Senior boys, girls, and mixed teams dominated the event with the Senior girls team beating everyone (with the help of a few stand-ins). Quite a few competi- tors got to take a dip in “The Pit”. Thursday included the most elaborate obstacle course ever made. Contestants ran through a Hall'o Jello, puzzle race, mud slide, tricycle race, pie-eat, tires and many others. Even the faculty organized a team to compete. On Friday, Mr. Bomber ’86, Marty Watrous returned to crown his successor. Brad Spent, dur- ing the annual Male Beauty Contest. To finish off the festivities, Mr. Zachary bravely “Kissed the Bulldog” to the delight of his fans at the assembly. S.K. I. Tcna Tiplon showing off her facial with her personal cosmotologist. HOMECOMING Parade and Game Friday evening’s activities began with the parade. It wound through the streets of Ar- genta and ended at the school in preparation for the game. In the float competition, the class of 1988 captured first place (for four years in a row) with “Bombers — Be all you can be”. The sophomores came in second with “Vanish the Bulldogs”, the Juniors moved up to third place (quite an improvement) with “Catch the Bomber Wave” and the Freshman (as usual) came in last with “Void the St. T. Noid”. At the game, the team worked hard to beat the St. Teresa Bulldogs. It was a close game that kept the fans on their toes! The loss didn't damper our spirits though, and we had a great time. S.K. 1. “O.K. guys, this is the plan ...” 2. The Bombers anxiously await the kick-off. 3. “Oops! 4. A-O, A-O, Let’s Go!! 5. Sophomore Tiffany G. helps spread Homecom- ing spirit with balloons. 6.
