What word strikes fear in the heart of every Freshman? Initiation. Mr. Za- chary's announcement that there would be no formal Freshman initiation sparked angry protests from Seniors and caused many a Freshman to breathe a sigh of relief. The remedy? Freshman Energy Day! This year's activities were a little different than usual. Boys dressed as their favorite cartoon characters, and the girls dressed as Rambo. Each of the Freshmen were assigned a Senior guide (what really happened was the Seniors got slaves for a day!). No Freshman Energy Day” is complete without a full school assembly. The Seniors thought of many inhumane things to make the Freshmen do, like making the whole class play leapfrog.” Phil Stepping, dressed as Bullwinkle, was voted Most Talented Freshman, thanks to his charming rendition of Da Doo Run Run.
