A time it was time it was and what a time it was. it was a time for beginning, a time of liv- ing, a time of learning, atimefor study, a time for fun. a time of patterns, crowded bleachers, rows of books, rows of lockers. . . a time of choosing, a time of being chosen, a time for waiting, a time for hoping. . . it was a time of war, a time of hate, a time of laughter, a time of happiness, a time to smile, a time to cry, a time to hold hands, a time to make love, a time to run, a time to crawl, a time to listen, a time to hear, a time to ques- tion, a time to challenge, a time to re- new, a time to create. . . long ago, it must be. i have a photograph. . . it was a time of falling together into a puzzle that is life, a time of pacifism, a time of rebellion, a time of reckless- ness, a time of utmost caring, a time of experimentation, a time of discovery, a time of right, a time of wrong, a time of boredom, a time of exhilaration, a time for everything under the sun. . . time it was and what a time it was.

Mrs. Bertha Parks Dedication We, the Yearbook Staff, dedicate the 1974-1975 edition of the Pilot to Mrs. Bertha Parks, teacher and yearbook advisor. For her many years of faithful dedication in helping organize the Pilot, we the staff feel it is only right to dedicate this yearbook to her. She has put so much time and effort into the preparation of our yearbook. Mrs. Parks always remains calm and cool even when only a few members of the staff attend meetings, when there is nothing done a day before the deadlines, and when there are no pictures developed on time. She deserves many thanks and much gratitude for her wonderful years of service. Thank you, Mrs. Parks, from the Pilot staff of '75!
