The Future Homemakers of America has progressed this year under the leadership of Colleen Roegge, President. Colleen began her year as president by attending the Leadership Training Conference at Bloomington last summer. At the Bloomington Conference, the title of Honor Chapter, was conferred on the Arenzville Chapter of F. H. A. Our department has been improved this year by slipcovers on our sectional divan, by red cornices on the tops of the windows, and by retouching ofthe same old furniture. We are proud of our department. To help the community and school we've sponsored a cancer drive Kick-Off at which 69 women registered in our guest book: we had an assembly program on parliamentary procedureg we sponsored a No Gripe day in school, we had a Daddy-Date Night, and each F. H.A. giil brought her very special date, Daddy , to show him how fond she was of him.
