2l'll0l' G55 P 0,9 QC? While attending a carnival the other evening I happened to spy a fortune teller and being an inquisitive person I decided to learn the fate of our class, so I went into her tent crossed her palm with a coin, and proceeded to gaze into her crystal ball The first person I saw was Jean Beets she was sitting in front f a microphone reading her script of Life Will Be Beautiful Opal Beard appeared walking down Fifth Avenue in New York carrying her hatbox the trademark of the models The howling and yelp1ng of kids brought to view Kate Carls Lovekamp busily trying to wash the dishes and rock her baby daugh ter Mur1el at the same time Although the crying was loud I thought I heard a tractor in the background and sure enough the next picture was that of D1ck Fricke, busily t1ll1ng the so1l Knowing Dick there probably was abasketball goal at the end of the field where he could shoot a few goals Just to keep in practice Joan Goodpasture was the next member of our class to appear It seems she has now taken Mrs Foster's place at A C H S and at that moment she was teaching the freshman girls sewing A man in a forest was the next to come into view and I thought I aroundl recogmzedhim as Edgar Ham a fellow classmate, it seems Edgar was up North trapping Muskrats Minks Skunks, Coons and what have you The sound of an English teacher dron1ng on and on brought Jack Hansme1er into view busily explaining Shakespeare's Macbeth to the A C H S Seniors Knowing how fond Jack 1S of Shakespeare this 15 no surprise Whilel was listening to Macbeth in flasheda vision of a theater billboard on it was written ' Macbeth starr1ng Martin Schleuter Mary Jones 1n a nurse suniform was walking swiftly down the corridor of St J'ohn's Hospital where she is employed as a graduate nurse A face behind bars brought the terrible thought of a fellow class mate in Jail but instead it was Max Lippert working as a bookie at Santa Anita With the sound of atypewr1ter's chattering keys came the vision of Connie Lovekamp Hollywood gossip columnist her topic Dale Mullens the new Hollywood rave Floyd Jones appeared next he is employed as a mattress tester in the Ajax Mattress Company 54 O I' . . . . , I 9 . , . . .
