Junior and Senior Plays JUNIOR CLASS PLAY The Jun1or Class presented athree act play entitled The Daffy D1lls in the month of April The act1on of the play takes place in the home of R1chard D111 The cast of characters 1ncludes Jack Hansmeier as Richard D111 Papa handsome widower Rosal e Roegge as Carol D111 his seventeen year old daughter Mat1n Schlueter as Rodney D111 h1S s1xteen year old son Melba Mason and Dick Fricke as Doris and Dudley the th1rteen year old Dill twins Jean Beet as Grandmother D111 Richard s neurotic mother Joan Goodpasture as Cousin Maud Maddox who comes for a visit Patty Schni tker as Elaine Escott Papa s bride Mary Jones as Aimee Lovewell sweet s 1xte en and th1mply cwazy over Rod Dale Mullens as Pete Norton high school athlete and Carol s heart throb Ehzabeth Paul as The Widow Negro cook afra1d of daffy folks SENIOR CLASS PLAY On November 10 1949 the Senior class presented a three act comedy Miss J1mmy to a capac1ty crowd The cast of characters 1ncluded Jean Roegge as Lou1se a sophomore at Br1er Mountain College for Women EIOISE' Roegge as Florence her roommate Jean Nords1ek as Catherine a Jun1or l1v1ng across the hall Melba Dufelme1er as Doris her freshman roommate Clarice H1erman as Harr1et a senior who lives next door Roland Carls as Droopj the colored man of all work Marilyn Burrus as Miss Watkins dean of Br1er Mountain College for Women Don Wessler as Jimmy a stray 3un1or from the State Un1vers1ty and R1chard Ruppel as Prof Frazier Rhodes Scholar and in structor 1n English The act1on of the play began when Jimmy was forced by his fraternity brothers to enter the g1r1 s dormitory at Br1er Mountain College for Women At the same t1me the girls are having a difficult time 1n getting dates for the b1g dance of the year The girls capture Jimmy and he is to get dates for them Th1s brings more d1ff1cult1es so they finally let him escape and Brier Mountain Collerre settles down to normal 28 .Q Rf Av , .
