Class of 1948 We re Senlors th1s year the Class of 1948 As we look back on the days spent ln Ardsley Hrgh we recollect many fond memorles Graduatxon w1ll mean more than gett1ng out of h1gh school lf wxll be the begrnnlng of a new and drfferent l1fe mdependent of the guldance we have found so helpful throughout our enttre school career In tracmg back our hxgh school record we fmd that our Freshman year brought our first act1v1ty a dance held early 1n the sprlng ThlS undertaking enlarged our class treasury by the enormous sum of about Sl 46 Well we can use the excuse that we were yust green freshmen To compensate for th1s however our Whxte Elephant Sale held dur1ng our Sophomore year was a huge success Then we were unxors As all un1or classes do we looked forward wrth eager ant1c1pat1on to publlshmg the ARDSLEYAN and yes we too were hopeful of producmg the best ARDSLEYAN ever Now for the blggest year of all we are Semors not just ordlnary members fall topped all prevrous sales records 1n Ardsley Hlgh School To show our apprecratron we held the tradltronal Subscrnptron Party the hrgh school cer tarnly deserved If We now look forward to the Senlor Play We re all hopeful for 1ts success and are awaxtrng the chance to show our dramanc talent All these act1v1t1es have been leadlng toward one great event for us our Washlng ton Tr1p We are all wantrng for a certaln day next March just th1nk all our dreams wxll soon be reallzed We can antlcrpate a wonderful txme ask any former Semor who went on the Washrngton Tnp In our resume of accompl1shments rr Ardsley Hxgh School vue cannot forget the helpfulness of all our teachers who 1n the1r respectxve fields have strrven to promote capable and well tramed students To Mrs Koenng our Senxor advlser we extend our thanks for maklng thrs our last year IU hlgh school a memorable one 6 , .
