BOY SCOUTS TROOP3 Troop Three of Ardsley climaxed its forward march by winning the Court of Awards inspection for the third straight time. This entitled us to keep the inspection ban- ner as a permanent trophy. We have grown to a troop of forty-five scouts with Mr. Harlan Thomas, Scoutmaster, and Mr. A. W. Silliman as Chairman of the Troop Committee. Two of our leaders, Gordon Schultz and Alfred Crisi, who have joined our armed forces, were honored at the annual Father and Son Dinner. ln cooperation with the Salvation Army we have collected over fifteen tons of waste paper to aid national defense. PACK 3 Under the direction of Mr. Duke and Mr. Kluge, the Cub Pack has had a busy and successful year. Our main activities have been a picnic in the fall, and the annual Parents' Night held in December with over one hundred parents and friends attending. Weekly meetings at the school have kept the pack of thirty-two boys between the ages of nine and twelve closely organized and progressing along the road to scouting. AHS I942
