W f SENIORS In September 1956, a very green but a very large Freshman Class entered the high school department. The first activity, which we participated in as Freshmen, was the annual Senior Subscription Campaign. Although we did not win any prize, we did bring in more subscriptions than any other class. Realizing that thirty-six members in the class was the largest enrollment a Freshman Class had ever had, we immediately made plans for raising funds for our Washington Trip. Two very successful cake sales took place, and a movie was presented which enriched our treasury. As Sophomores, the end of the subscription campaign found us highest on the list as to the number of subscriptions sold and as to the amount of money collected. During the year we sponsored the usual cake sales and movies. Again, in our Junior year, proving our salesmanship ability, we sold the greatest number of subscriptions in the magazine campaign. Through the untiring efforts and cooperation of Miss Clayton and other members of the faculty we were able to put forth the 1958 Ardsleyan, a bigger and better book, and also add to our Washington fund a tidy sum. Before we realized it, we were dignified Seniorsg our Washington trip was right before us.
