HONOR SOCIETY The Honor Society has grown steadily since its organization and at the present time has a membership of over one hundred and fifty pupils. At the first meeting of the Honor Society early in October, Freda Wille was elected President, William Phillips, Vice-presidentg Ruth Gubler, Secretaryg and Miss Conklin was chosen adviser. The Third Degree which acts as the executive committee consists of twelve members: Graham Bell, Catherine Casadonte, Fannie D'Angelo, Esmee Clark, Charles Benedict, Angelina Paolucci, Irving Engleman, Marianna Frischmann, Clara Maori, and the officers. The most important event of the year, the Honor Society Banquet, was held on December 17, at which time thirty-six candidates were inducted into the society. It was our privilege again to have with us the Honorable Walter F. Seely, who consented to act as toastmaster. The program consisted of songs, speeches, the solemn ceremony of initiation, and the serving of refreshments. The Surprise Honor Award was given to Mr. Thomas.
