UPERINTEN DE T 'S MESSAGE George W. Cecil once said, On the plains of hesitation bleach the bones of countless millions who at the dawn of victory sat down to rest and, resting, died. May it be said that this was not true of you. The very fact that you desire to have a school annual helps to make this statement true. The time spent in high school has been used for study- ing, playing, and working together. You have used your gifts of lively minds, physical vigor, and active curiosity in these experiences. May you look back and be able to say: I was able to see a forest instead of only trees. While you are now reading this, may you be determined to continue through life to always attempt to see the forest. By doing so, your efforts will be toward the positive things of life.
