PRI CIPAL Congratulations to the class of 1957 upon your grad- uation and to the Torch Staff for your fine effort in pro- ducing an excellent yearbook. Both accomplishments resulted from hard work and conscientious study. I feel sure you will look back with pride upon your high school years by means of this publication. The class of 1957 is the finest graduating class it has been my privilege to work with. I feel confident that this class will produce many happy and successful adult citizens. Since coming here almost two years ago, I have ob- served how everyone has adjusted and worked toward the ac- complishing of some desired goals. Many changes and opportunities have come about this past year with our new building and altered facilities , which our annual no doubt will show. You have shown your enthusiasm and appreciation in many ways. You, as students, have come to school to acquire knowledge. Your future will depend on how well you use it. Your future will not be successful if you plow without sowing.
