Officers for the next year wefe elected, they are as follows, Georgia Herrington, President? Joan Sanders,Vice PresidentgPat Harris,Treasurer5 and Audrey Landreth, Secretary. Fifty-cents dues were decided for every one, instead of twenty-five cents the first semester for the Freshmen. Freshmen initiation was held in October. The Homecoming dance was held in the new high school gym in the month of November.The gym was decorated in purple and white,the theme wasUDeep Purplen. The band was Gene Trimble. The Christmas Dance was held Dec.15,1956. The club voted to do away with the banquet this year.The theme of the dance was WSilver Seranadan. The band was Fred warren Connie Johns was elected to go to G.A.A.Camp and Dorothy Woods was chosen alternate. We feel that this year has been a prosperour and reward- ing year.
