Teacher Institute. ll Fresh-Soph game at Arthur cancelled. lb Freshman class party. 15 Game at Cerro Gordo. We won. 18 B team game with Cerro Gordo. We won. 12-O. 20 Senior play tryouts for nPapa was a Preacher.n 22 25 Play practice started. 29 Game cancelled with Assumption. November B team game with Sullivan. We won. 5 Varisty football gmne with Sullivan. We won. 10 Pep assembly in afternoon. ll Football game with Tuscola. We won. 31-lh. 12 Everyone excited. No studies. Towns people came out and we had a big assembly then paraded through town. Went to a combined party with Tuscola in the afternoon. 15 Play practice. 16 Juniors got classrings. B team lost. 22 Spanish Two Class, went to Chicago to see Jose Greco and his Ballet at the Opera House. 2h Okaw Valley Tournament at Sullivan. Won first game with Atwood. Dorothy Jacob was chosen to represent Arcola at the Okaw Valley Sweetheart Dance. 26 Game with Newman, we won. Team will play in Semi finals. 27 Sharon Guppy was named recipient of DAR award. 28 Basketball game with Cerro Gordo. We lost. Will play for third place Saturday night. 29 We beat Tuscola and won third place in the Okaw Tournament. ?ebruary Band Festival at Newman. Basketball game with Sullivan.
