Adams To show our appreciation for 23 years of guidance, hard work, and leadership, the 1985 Wildcat staff respectfully dedicates this annual to our principal. J. B. Adams. But we will never lose the memories created at ACHS and we will treasure them forever. }) f wmKMm Learning is an extremely vital part of school. At ACHS. students learned many new and important things by means of their teachers, classes, friends, and acts such as studying, experimenting, and creating. Main Archer City, TX 574-4569 Homecoming 1984 Homecoming was highlighted by the crowning of queen Tami Nichols and the Wildcats' 7-6 victory over Windthorst. 1 tea was given for the exes and the juniors spon- sored a dinner. The football cheerleaders held a homecoming dance after the game. 13 15 Jr.-Sr. Prom The theme to this year's prom honoring the seniors was Fantasy Night. Mike Mooney read the senior class will and Sonya Huffman read the prophecy. This night of fantasy created memories of danc- ing, laughing, and being with friends. n Mr. and Miss ACHS Janet Lobpries Janet Lobpries, salutatorian other class, has par- ticipated in many activities at ACHS. A member of National Honor Society for two years, she served as secretary-treasurer this year. She has been football cheerleader for two years and a band member for two years. Janet has competed in UIL journalism, one-act play, and solo and ensemble. She is the 1985 Wildcat editor. Janet’s friendliness and abilities will be missed. Doug Fox Doug Fox, valedictorian of his class, has been an outstanding student during his high school years. He has been a major part of the Wildcat football team. Active also in FFA and golf, he has been a strong competitor. Doug has been in National Honor Society for three years, serving as president this year. He was chosen DAR Citizen of the Year for 1984-85.
