1984 Wildcat Vol. 39 Archer City High School Archer City, Texas Contents Activities People . Ads . . 2 . 78 129 3 Seniors: Single file ond yer together. We have shored our greatest days. And we carry common memories In different ways. Though we don't know where we're going, We will cherish where we've been. I want to cry. I wont ro shout. . . Wont ro let this feeling our. Hold on ro the moment. Let the feelings show. Hold on ro the moment. Never let it go. I can picture us together With my arms around my friends. Just let me hold on to this moment. Before it ends. There was laughrer. There were rears, Through the dozen golden years. — Senior Memory Book Activities: Exrrocurriculor activities ployed on important port in the lives of students or A.C.H.5. These students showed their enthusiasm dur- ing football season by parridpating in skits, decorating the halls, or dressing up on Cowboy Day. These activities were followed by OAP, cap and gown picture day, and cheering the baseball team on to another victory. Homecoming The crowning of queen Kim Morney highlighted the Homecom- ing events of the doy which included o reo for the exes and the Jacksboro football game. The Homecoming nominees were escorted by foorboll players for the first rime in many years ar the pre-game ceremony. Learning: An exciting port of A.C.H.5. classes is learning, whether if be through experiments in chemistry and science, typing with Mrs. Giddings, first aid classes, or just sitting around talking to each other. Students learn new and exciting things through teachers, friends, and experiences. 10 Friends: The fondest memories of A.C.H.S. were those spent with our friends. We shored fun times wherever we went and whatever we were doing whether it was in doss, in the hall, or standing out- side waiting for the bell to ring. Each school year many new friends ore mode and times spent together will never be forgotten. 12 13 Competition: Students at A.C.H.S. displayed a competitive spirit in every season. Competitors and spectators alike were kept busy in the fall and winter months with football, basketball and bond, and in the spring with baseball, track, tennis, and golf. Participants discovered a non-stop will that kept them going in a positive direc- tion throughout the year. 15 Jr.-Sr. Banquet: Magic is the Night was the rheme to this year's banquet and the magic came through as the night progressed. Monica Leamon read the prophecy, Brad Pippin read the senior class will, and many enjoyed the dance after the meal.
