HONORS pjbu. flin ju Uxss ACf-fC Oiftig LcfjtUi Mr. A CHS must have leadership qualities and high scholastic abilities. Craig Loftin, a senior, has been a leader in all phases here at ACHS and for this rea- son, his classmates voted him Mr. ACHS. Football, NHS, Student Council, and UIL competition have filled Craig's high school days. ACHS has benefited because of Craig's willingness and leadership. Cecelia Owen Cecelia Owen is certainly a familiar name here at ACHS because of the many scholastic awards and honors she has won. Cecelia has won such awards as Betty Crocker Leader of Tomorrow, DAR Good Citi- zen and Valedictorian of her 1975 senior class. Band, Spanish Club, Library Club, and UIL have been Cecelia's main activities. Although Cecelia will be gone from ACHS, her scholastic achieve- ments will not be forgotten. Ccfioo Be uty Lfiw Evfi To be chosen School Beauty one must have physical beauty as well as inner beauty. Len Eve, a senior, was selected school beauty by her classmates and was recognized at the Award's Program on April 29, 1975. Len's good looks and friendly disposition won her the award. 42 Uost f4 Wso Vtwcewfc Qofflydh The Most Handsome award was given for the first time in several years here at ACHS. The honor went to a senior, Vincent Goforth. He was selected by the student body because of his cute smile and warm person- ality . RwtfaM Cw etlmAi L iv£u Len Eve, a senior and a Wildcat football cheerleader, was named 1974 Football Sweetheart at the annual All-Sports Banquet, March 17, 1974. Len was selected by the members of the football team because of her hard work as a cheerleader for the past two years and for her never-end- ing support for the Wildcats. Bcttui Qwedkk cwb QhctAMi Gcwfoigto 45 Sharon Garlington has been a hard worker and leader in the ACHS band all four of her high school years. Because of this, Sharon was crowned Band Sweetheart on May 6, 1975 at the annual Spring Concert. WO MfiCOiUttlC| J B(Wso« Jill Bledsoe, a senior student, was crowned Homecoming Queen before a large crowd at the Archer City-Seymour football game, on October 4, 1974. Jill was selected by the entire student body because of her warm smile and great sense of humor. 46 U i . oncL Uxss QckocQj Qpt ufc Wy WuuwOM Dfvioifiy QMtxhs For the first time in ACHS history, an award was given to the boy and girl who displayed the most spirit and enthusiasm in all ACHS activities. Andy Graham, a senior, and Dorothy Schlabs, a junior, were chosen for the award by the Student Council. School Spirit is a great thing to have and ACHS is lucky to have these two stu- dents on her side. 47 JpjOtmivA Plft Ht tt U ey mum Ofevfet QpocloJl QttuWfe Ptieiteffoesi Andy tcduutv ClotJjdlOj UtWliS© 48 Wtftosb Bedty Ho Pftuf-U yfeft B StGnMm l fiAwikG'teetu P iKi A VtiUii 49 JcmitoS Cfkuukou UMtiSMi Dctwiy Hopkins Cfoss QetuM6 Qhouioti GcjJliMjtovj PautU yfe Pcuwtifes 7tt wy UjC u{ifa flAcuik UcCoMei LESLIE KNOX - Home Economics STEVE STULTS - Vocational Agriculture Oufetoaclittg CWettis TAMMY McGRIFF - Journalism PAM MARTIN - Spanish CRAIG LOFTIN - Science JAN McWHORTER - Shorthand R cogwXge fw Cubjeefc Ftdds LEN EVE - English LORETTA COX - Speech BILL JENTSCH - Math JILL BLEDSOE - Library CECELIA OWEN - Band CLAUDIA MORRISON - Social Studies 53 QoocL CECELIA OWEN - December CLAUDIA MORRISON - January WotioW By F cuiliy MARK ADAMS - February LEN EVE - March - Citizen of the Year jan McWhorter - April TAMMY McGRIFF - May 55 UfL Cottfest wis PROSE READING: Tammy McGriff, 2nd in District: Bill Jentsch; and Barbara Chambles.
