Seniors Step Out Into Tomorrow SENIOR SEVENTY'S YEAR IS OVER ... With it comes an end of twelve years of hard struggle for 38 seniors ... lead by Freddy Walsh ... assisted by Eddie Wright ... minutes taken by Becky Crow ... Harola Adkins kept our money. Quietly remembering hours spent together ... laughing and crying ... a year of memory with many magic moments ... the gun fight in the green coffin declaring the seniors winners of Ranch Week with $1,913 ... Our last football game as a WILDCAT ... Making over $1,000 on our senior play “Meet Me In St. Louis” ... Cheering the Wildcats as they won the East Zone in basketball ... Traveling to New York and Washington D.C. ... climbing those stairs a final time ... leaving some classmates behind, and somehow trusting them with all that was ours before. We feel again the loneli- ness of empty halls that we walked bewildered just four years ago ... taking a look at each other one last time and shedding tears of joy for all the time we’ve spent together ... finally, the Night came when we all looked back and said goodbye to ACHS ... walked off the stage into the world we will one day shape ... knowing it was the beginning not the end for the Seniors of 1970.
