We sought, we learned, we un- derstood. We also knew there was a special kind of spirit here, with all the hundreds of different personalities. All we really had in common was our youth, but that always seemed to be enough. In our CLASSES we ex- panded ourselves to many dimensions and followed different courses of study to fit our own ambitions. We experienced closeness to fellow stu- dents, helping one another to com- prehend classroom moments. In spite of our cliques and circles of friends, we were all Wildcats, and that helped to make ’70 a real year of the lively ones. 25
