HHSTC R CLASS OF 1957 58 Early 1n September of 1946 twelve eager young asprrants to wlsdom began therr long prlgrrmage down the Road of Knowledge And here our story begrns The twelve who began the journe were Jo Ann Patrrck Bllly Gore Kenneth Estrll Jrrnmy Ashton Krrby Blay Charles Pryor Helen Taylor Ardre Wood Cecrl Hargood Malena Martrn and Martha and Clyde Worley As we passed Second Grade Street we made no addrtrons to our group When we approached Thrrd Grade Crossrng we found Patsy Deen and Nancy Sullens eager to travel the Road wrth us Barley Lasater and Kenneth Reeves jorned our company at Fourth Grade Corners As we walked gayly down Frfth Grade Lane we were Jorned by Dale Ashbrook Jo Ann Dugan Janet Stubbs and Tommy Thurkrll There are now twenty one adventurers rn our company and as we round Srxth Grade Bend we add one more to our group Curtls Harrelson Our group rs Jorned by Helen Hrlbers George Morrow and Chrrs Hemmr as we proceed down Seventh Grade Path We passed Erghth Grade Intersectron wrthout makrng any addrtrons to our company of happy wanderers Wrth Etghth Grade lntersectron behrnd us, the Road becomes a l1ttle steeper But the scenery rs beautlful so we do not mrncl The name of thrs new sectron rs Hrgh School Land As we start down Freshman Trarl Pug York Wayland Abshrer and Nancy Pollock contrrbute their presence to the merry company We frnd Wayne Eckstrne Delbert Huffman and Jack Gentry wartrng to Jorn us rn Sophomore Sectron At Junror Junctron Lynn Dele Adams Freda Grace and Wlllle Wrlleford fall rnto step wrth the other members of our prlgrrmage Frnally our group of trred but happy wayfarers reached Senror Boulevard Becra Berry and Eddre Gresham were the last to jorn us But here our story does not end The Road forks here and each member w1ll go hrs own way but we shall remember fondly the frrst twelve mrles K ,V .
