SENIOR CLASS HISTORY After the graduatlon SXGICISGS from the srxth grade we entered the Arch bold Ir Hrgh There under the gurdance of Mlss Nofzlger we grew more ln ttlhgent and at the end of two long years were able to enter the flrst year of our 'ugh chool tra1n1ng at Archbold H1gh School We were jolned by puplls from Elmrra and Zon After bemg fully 1n1t1ated by our Sophomore fnends we had at last become full fledged members of th1s grand school' At the end of the n1ne month term as Fre hmen Cand we seemmgly had survrved the many hard lessonsl we were ready to enter 1nto the second year of our trarmng 'lh1s year we as Sophomores had the pr1v1lege of 1n1t1at1ng the areen Freshmen mto th1s 1nst1t1,t1on of learmng The class hav1ng over come th tnals and tr1bulat1ons of the year was on 1ts way to the second last year of schoohng ln our Iunror year we chose the plns and r1ngs that would bmd us to Arch bold Hlgh School forever Accordmg to custom we presented two class plays A lVl1nd of Her Own presented tn the fall and Ready Made Famlly g1ven rn the spr1ng However the ma1n event was our entrance mto Dreamland at the banquet g1ven by us rn honor of the Semors After many weeks of planmna and then hard labor we were rewarded by the many comphments from those attendmg We appreclated the help g1ven us by our class advlsors to make lh1S Banquet a huge success And then the last lap of our tramrng here at the best school 1n the land Archbold Hlgh School was reached We were the d1gn1f1ed Semors We had our plctures taken and recelved our name cards whrch were g1ven to everyone We attended the beaut1f.1l Iumor Sen1or banquet Over the Ram bow On May 3 and 4 the class play Cheaper by the Dozen was g1ven We decxded on the class trxp whlch was the Washlngton D C and New York Ctty tour combmed The Bacculaurate sermon was dehvered on May 20 by Bev Elhs Roth from the MISSIOHGIY Church and the Commencement exer CISGS were held on Monday May 21 w1th Rev Carlson from Toledo g1v1ng the address After these ceremomes we the class known for dolng thlngs most drfferently 1o1ned the alumm of the Archbold I-hgh School Many happy memones w1ll l1nger Wllh us for the rest of our lxves of our days at AHS to bnghten the rought spots we travel l1fe s road I - 1.
