Carl's favorite sport was football, and a lifelong ambition was realized by playing varsity football for two years at Stepinac. Following in the footsteps of his Dad, he hopes to become a doctor. However, he will be best remem- bered for his characterizations in the dra- matic presentations as Nordraad, the poet in Song of Norway and Count Hugo Detleff, the fun-loving student in the Student Prince. Versatile Phil will expand his talents in the future at Holy Cross.
