In an attempt to understand, the Political Structures Club attended committee hearings on education and delinquency at the state legislature. Armed with background knowledge, they sat in on a meeting ofthe St. Paul City Council. With advisor Mr. Maroney club members found that the state government really was within reach of the citizen. Seven busy members formed the Business Club. Concentrating on clerical work, they typed copy for Miter. Members made their own contribution to the literary magazine by typing it. Nothing was too hard, or too tough. They were transformed from stumblers f to tumblers. A few even mastered the art of swivel hips, even if only on the tramp.
