Social Studies inspires ancien tjokes, crocheling Contrary to popular belief, social studies is NOT the study of being social. Psychology classes explored human behavior through books and discussions. Individual presentations offered insight into new areas. Freshmen in World Cultures were exposed to different societies throughout the world, their governments, people, customs and histories. American History is often wrongly thought to be a course But S. Mark's other methods, such as colonial newspapers, diaries of a person in the past, and her own 'outdated' jokes combined to teach U.S. history. While NEWSWEEKS kept Juniors informed of history in the making, the magazines presented only one of the social problems endured by S. Angeline's classes. Supplementary government books urged many to active campaigning during the November elections. Mother and baby care, in taught by qualified nurses, U' A proved to be intriguing. Poverty and leadership combined ' i with knitting and Crocheting, S.
