The first dance, The VVelcome Festivaln was a gala affair modeled on the Farewell Festival held last year at St. Ann's. The success of the affair can be measured by the number in attendance which exceeded one thousand. Eugene M oderatofr The Student Activities Committee is precisely what its name implies, a group of students who plan, organize and run the various activities of the school. Its member- ship is composed of two groupsg the Administrative Committee, outstanding Seniors and juniors selected by Bro. Eugene and the Executive Committee, two elected representatives from each class in the school. In the Administrative Committee, all plans are for- mulated as to which activity will be held and the time and place. The Executive Committee assists in putting the plans into operation.

Bro. C. Francis discusses some plans with the freshman representatives. -A new outlet for Sac's,' energy was instituted this year with the most delightful school Christmas assem- bly, highlighted by a live tableau of the Stable of Bethlehem. The Skating Party held in late March proved to be organized with the usual Sac', eiiiciency and was equally enjoyable. On the more serious side of its undertakings, Sac helped manage the P.T.A. by providing ushers through- out the building to aid the visiting parents. Bro. C. Francis. Cn-Moderator 72 S.A.C.
