The apostolic zeal of the Sodality takes many formsg the sale of religious Christ- mas cards and rosary beads, the annual canned food drive and a school dance held once a year. This same zeal of the Sodality has for the first time this year, provided daily Blass and Communion in the school gym eau-li morning of Lent, for any and all sluclenls. Following the old St. Ann's tradition, the Sodality sponsored the May Devo- tions in honor of their Queen and Mother. Buc- eicri The Sodality is an organization which affords each and every Stanner an oppor- tunity to perfect himself in his state of life. Through its various activities and undertakings, it channels the boundless zeal and enthusiasm of youth toward imi- tation of Christ and His Blessed hlother. Thus the two-fold mission of the Sodality is spiritual sflf perfection and develop- ment of apostolic zeal. The first part of this goal is accom- plished through weekly meetings and fre- quentation of the Sacraments. Every Thursday morning, Sodalists arrive extra early to attend a Mass and receive Com- munion in the gym. At their meetings, the Sodalists learn something more about their purpose in life and the means by which they can bring Christ and Mary to their neighbors. Bro. Hugh Andrew Moderator poster club Dilger and Pipolo put the finishing touches on masterpiece 'MF Standing: R. Trenehard, L. Pipolq, R. Clark, A. Cull, R. Keane. Sealed Seated: H. Dilger Mariano, J. Rowland, F. Keenan, E. Claudio. The poster club is the newest of the activities in the school. It affords interested students an opportunity to exercise their artistic tendencies. At the same time, the iclub provides posters of all sizes and shapes for other publicity needing activities. Simi, flzuic-es, Sodzility food drives, basketball games and track meets are but a few of the constant customers of the poster club. All posters begin on the planning board. 641 ...J A
