A familiar sight in room 212 after school is the chessboard. What's a queen's rook's pawn? If you don't know, just ask a member of our chess team. This year's team began practice early in November and continued through March. As a result, the team ended their regular season with a record of six victories and three losses to take fifth place in the league and third place in the city divi- sion behind Buchtel and Gar- field.
