Those selected as Art Student of the Month were: Melissa Inman for November, Mary Ann Propst for December, Clint Randolph for January, Randy Warner for February, Jon Jones for March, Debbie Dinkins for April, and Amy Draper for May. The purpose of the Vocational Industrial Clubs of America (VICA) is to prepare leadership in the world of work; it is also designed to unite, in a common bond, all students enrolled in trade, industrial, technical, and health education. Also, it fosters a deep respect for the dignity of work, assists students in establishing realis- tic vocational goals, and helps stu- dents attain a purposeful life. VICA arouses within the students an enthu- siasm for learning and for promoting high standards in trade ethics, work- manship, scholarship, and safety. Above all, the organization develops leadership abilities through participa- tion in educational, vocational, civic, recreational, and social activities.
