SECOND ROW: Cathy Holmes, Gina Matkin, Susan Degonia, Chris Garrison, Terry Nichols, Alan Yount, Tony Pryor, Joe Miller. John Signer. On May 16, the Junior and So- phomore members of the National Honor Society honored the Graduating Seniors with a banquet in the high school cafeteria. Miss Dorothy Reese, AV’s only honorary member, gave a humorous talk about “Words of Wisdom.” As usual, she had everyone in stitches. The Sophomore members gave numerous awards to the Seniors such as, Ugliest Man won by Terry Nichols, Most Boy Crazy-John Signer, Biggest troublemaker-Lucia Rohrer, Sexiest Bod-Joe Miller, Least Boy Crazy-LaDonna Meeks, and Most out spoken-Susan Degonia. Awards were also won by Sheree Mayes for Short and Sassy hairdo of the year, Tony Pryor, cheerleader of the year, Gina Matkin- Man of the year, Debbie Jones-Loudest, Jeri Brewer-sweetest temper, Carol Boushie, most promising future, Chris Garrison-Gayest, Cathy Holmes, quietest and Terry Bell model of the year. 12
