DEDICATION To any person who lives in the Arcadia Valley and knows anything at all about the history of the town and its school system immediately thinks of one per- son in whom these two distinct elements seem to be- come fused into one being and body. This is, of course, the beloved Miss Dorothy Reese. No one per- son has given more unselfishly or untiring than this woman to her school and community. Miss Reese is a woman of diversified and many talents. She writes a weekly column for THE MOUNTAIN ECHO, takes care of her 93 year mother, attends most school activities, directs the most important event at our school, the queen coronation, finds time to write her little black book for the Christmas Dance, attends B and PW Club, and is a good neighbor to her many friends up and down the streets and roads of Arcadia Valley. Miss Reese has given of herself to this school sys- tem for 31 years and has continually enriched, en- lightened, and enhanced the life of each person with whom she has come into contact. After meeting Miss Reese the world seems to be a little brighter and a little better than it was before. For her untiring devotion and love — we the TIGER staff of 1973 — dedicate this annual with love to MISS DOROTHY REESE.

SUPERINTENDENT May I take this opportunity to congratulate the Tiger Staff for the wonderful job of displaying the school system in its entirety through the school yearbook. It is always amazing to me how the activities of a school year can be correlated to present the total picture of our school program. It is in my opinion that the Arcadia Valley School District offers one of the finest school programs available to students anywhere with a fine faculty and superior student body. I would like especially to compliment Mr. Finley for his excel- lent guidance as our yearbook sponsor. As we complete an even richer program as we anticipate the beginning of our future vocational program, I commend each of you for a job well done. J. D. Maguffee Superintendent PRINCIPAL D.
