Mr. Wayne Wheeler ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT This is the first year I have been associated with high school age stu- dents. My observation is that if the students of Arcadia Valley High are typi- cal American teenagers, then I cannot agree with those who say the youth of America have gone to the dogs. A year with these students has made me more optimistic about the fu- ture of our country. VO-TEC DIRECTOR As we take this opportunity to look back over the past thirty years, we are reminded anew that change is a very real part of our lives. We realize that large amounts of time, energy and money have been dedicated to pro- viding an educational system which is in touch with these changes. The development of a vocational technical program is an excellent example of the school adapting to the needs of the total community. As we look to the future let us dedicate ourselves to building a better so- ciety by providing the opportunity for each individual to develop his abili- ties to their fullest possible level. SUPERINTENDENT May I take this opportunity to congratulate the Tiger Staff for the wonderful job of displaying the school system in its entirety through the school yearbook. It is always amazing to me how the activities of a school year can be correlated to present the total picture of our school program. It is in my opinion that the Arcadia Valley School District offers one of the finest school programs available to students anywhere with a fine faculty and superior student body. I would like especially to compliment Mr. Finley for his excel- lent guidance as our yearbook sponsor. As we complete an even richer program as we anticipate the beginning of our future vocational program, I commend each of you for a job well done. J. D. Maguffee Superintendent PRINCIPAL D. Harwell Lambert Principal I would like to thank the faculty and parents of the com- munity for helping make 1972-1973 a successful school year. A special thanks to our student body for their efforts and cooperation. If these students are examples of people who will someday lead our society, and I think they are, we can look forward to a bright future. 6
