ARCADIA VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL Ironton, Missouri Delania Thomas, Editor Mr. Bill Vivrett, Advisor Cover Design - Jerry Bullis Art Work - Jerry Bullis Nancy Allmon Feature Editor - Sherry Stovall f Cc ifi Cmcnnon 4 ■■ «cutty 9 V) ctassts 13 § OWSftnlZJlCWftS 45 flOfttOCS SI ycHWCtift 33 •introduction Dubbed by the Tiger Staff in the year of our Lord, Nineteen Hundred and Sixty Two, I, Sir Tolliver, have become the sacred symbol of Arcadia Valley High School. I represent school spirit, honor, sportsmanship, and a quest for knowledge. Now that I have been properly introduced; it is my wish that as a new tradition of A. V. H.S. , the Carnival theme be carried as the theme for our yearbook. Therefore, with the theme of English Poetry , return with me to the days of merry old England when knighthood was in flower. Join me as I meet with the great works of Shakespeare, Spenser, Milton, Chaucer, Wordsworth, and the Romantics. Think of me as your guiding light, an echo through the halls of A. V. H. S. -- a living memory in each of your hearts and minds as we journey back through the activities of the year past. 2W« c a l ion We, the Tiger Staff, in accordance with his many contributions, to Arcadia Valley High School, with great respect toward his sincere interest in his students, with esteem appreciation toward his high standards of character and achievement, with deep regard and sincere admiration of years of knowledge, time, and guidance given forth with little asked in return, dedicate the 19 62 Tiger to MR.
