PRESIDENT Tom Baldwin VICE-PRESIDENT Randal Leach TREASURER Doug Ross SECRETARY Patty Barnes STUDENT COUNCIL MEMBERS Jim Moses and Sue Lee When school began this year, fifty-eight seniors came back for their last year at Ironton High School. We were all proud of our senior rings which arrived soon after school started we were walking on air fear a couple of weeks. Soon after electing our class officers and getting settled, carnival time rolled around. We worked hard to crown our candidate, Hilda Jones, Queen of I.H.S. Soon after carnival our class worked hard to set a new record on magazine sales which added $400 to ourtre- asury. The seniors made some more extra money selling refreshments with the juniors at the small regional tournament held in Ironton. This year nearly all seniors wanted to do something as we were represented in several organizations of the school. Included in these were: F.H.A., F.F.A., mixed chorus, girls' chorus, tiger talks staff, tiger staff, pep squad, and student council. In Sports we were re- presented in volleyball by Pat Barnes and Judy Reese, and in basketball by Gary Huff, Randal Leach, Ed Douglas, Lee Lewis, Tom Baldwin, Ancel Lewis and Doug Ross. On Friday, April 13, the seniors presented their play The Skeleton Walks , a cast of 10 characters. Then after Vesper Services and Commencement the seniors took their trip to Florida. And now underclassmen, we leave Ironton High to you and we hope you will appreciate it as we have. 12
