Senior CL ciss Eighty Seniors entered the halls of L H. S. on September 6, 1954 for the last year. The sponsors for this year were: Mr. Steck, Mr. Grayum, Miss Koechig, and Mrs. McKinney. The year was off to a good start when at Carnival time Rosalie Bay, the Senior candidate, was crowned queen. The float “Stairway to Paradise” also won a first. The Seniors, with the help of the Freshman Class, gave the “Dogpatch all school party on February 12, 1955. The Senior Play, “Finders Creepers,” was a huge success when it was presented on April 15, 1955. Seventy-nine Seniors received diplomas on May 19 and fifty-three went on the Senior Trip to Pensacola, Florida and New Orleans. The Seniors on the honor roll all four quarters were: Bob Berkley, Lois Chambers, Sue Freegard, Betty Jones, Ronald Jones, Juanita Mitchell, Marcia Moyer, Byron Phegley.Sue Pollock, Carol Sims, Denny Tims, Carol Vickery, and Pat Wald ram. OFFICERS: FRONT ROW: Rosie Bay, Carol Vickory, Sue Freegard. BACK ROW: Bob Berkley, Bernard Smith, Bob Newman, Denny Tims.
