Student Council The Student Council was organized under the supervision of our principal, Mr. Steck. This organization is composed of the presidents and two other members from each class. The Freshmen are re- presented by Denny Tims, Virginia Parker, and Bob Newman; Sophomores by Ronald Grayum, Janis Leach, and Bill Strever; Juniors by Bill DePew, Nellie Pollock, and Curtis Leach; Seniors by John Smith, Betty Owens, and John Collins. The Student Council elected the following officers: President, John Smith; Vice-President, Curtis Leach; Secretary, Janis Leach; Treasurer, Nellie Pollock. The Student Council evaluated the coun- try store articles and placed the students in booths at carnival time. One of the many things the Council considered was turning the museum into a student lounge. The Student Council also constructed a constitution for I. H. S.
