Beginning with Joel (have a — day!) in the morning, the student's academic day might be full of surprises. Among the terrors of the day are the discovery that you've got your books but left at home the paper you wrote, or the quiz you really didn't expect, the speech you have to give, and the people you run over while oper- ating the driving simulator. You just might, though, have an opportunity to find a ter- rific book in Paperback Power, and if you're really lucky, you might catch a glimpse of the daily whist game during lunch hour in the faculty room. 9
