Once again the Girl's Basket- ball teams sported an excellent season. As expected, Varsity Team Captain Lori Jepsen led the team in ability and perform- ance. The team also welcomed the unusual talent of sopho- more Jan White. Combining their efforts with those of their teammates made for a winning season. Arcadia High School made history as the girls chose this year to start a water polo team. Enthusiastically the girls set out to be laughed at and helped by the already estab- lished boys team. Those not dis- couraged by the mocking went on to a very rewarding season. Q 132 - GIRLS' SPORTS
