The Arcadia Board ofEducation is thefoundation upon which the Arcadia School is built Without their efforts and strivings for better academic andphysical conditions for the school Arcadia could not continue to be thefine school it is, putting out students that are acceptable and success-hcl in all walks of lk. It surebz was fortuitous for Arcadia School when Mrs. Peggy Fleegle became the Clerk of the Board of Education. The duties and responsibilities ofthe Clerk are so involved and multitudinous that it takes a person versed in all phases of business to accomplish the job, State and Federal audits, accountings for all deposits of all monies, contracts, salaries, absences, income tax, retirement, tax sheltered annuities, plus full reports to the Government in De- cember, january, june fuhz, Septem- ber and October are just part of her job. Yhrough all these tension creat- ing jobs, Peggy is always cheerful and more than willing to heh: anyone in any way that she can. She is never. too busy to lend a sympathetic ear or a helping hand Jghn Metzger Ralph Bishop Peggy Fleegle
