lass Prophecy Today, September 28, 1977, while I was clearing my desk at the office. I found a letter from one of my old class- mates from Arcadia. It started me thinking about what my classmates had been doing the last ten years. With a two week vacation coming up, I decided to travel back to Arcadia to see what careers they had followed. Immediately after boarding my flight, the stewardess walked up the aisle reminding everyone to fasten their seat belts. I was truly surprised to discover that the trim, slim shapely stewardess was ANDREA WONDERS. We didn't have time to talk, however, for at that moment the pilot gave us our welcome and further instructions. This voice had a fa- miliar ring so I inquired of Andrea as to who it was. She smiled brightly and answered. That is Captain THOMAS IAMESON. After a rather bumpy flight and an even more terrifying landing, I departed with a farewell word and a hope that I would find more of my classmates. Since the Arcadia Airport was so far from downtown Arcadia, I hailed a taxi only to find that the driver was STEVE JOHNSON. I certainly hoped his driving had improved since high school days. I asked him to take me to the Arcadia Sheraton, and then made inquiries as to the whereabouts of other classmates. Steve told me that tonight was the opening of Arcadia's Metropolitan and that two of the performers were former class- mates. It seems that WANDA FOX was going to sing the lead in the opera. Madame Butterfly. The score was to be arranged and conducted by VICTOR PRICE who later was to tour the world as a concert pianist. DEBRA HENRY was using her fine mental abilities to manage the finances and arrangements for Victor. We stopped momentarily for a circus parade where I spotted more of my classmates. Leading the parade was the barker, JOE MOYER. It seems that he was putting his one great talent to use. After a few monemts, my eyes were fill- ed with an awesome sight. Before me stood a man with a form of sinewy muscles on a framework of titanic stature. It was the strongman of the circus, DUANE BOWMAN. He recognized me and flexed his bulging biceps! We finally continued and presently drew at my hotel. Rushing out to greet me was the hotel manager, RAY VAL- ENTI. Ray started his career as a bellboy and worked his way up to owner of the Hotel. Ray told me that DONALD LEWIS was in town promoting his latest film the classic, Alfie , with personal appear- ances. I was famished so I went to the Hotel Restaurant and to my amazement I found JERRY MARGRAF busily preparing his famous Kangaroo a la Carte. It suddenly burst into flame but I was assured that this was the only true way to fix this exotic dish. My trip had worn me down so I went to the Hotel Beauty Shop to freshen up. Here I found SHARON FRUTH who is manufacturing her own line of hair coloring. Summer Red . She said it was a big success and that she had gotten the idea from LYNN ROLLER, who is now playing football for the Arcadia Bruisers. Sharon told me that STEVE BIBBEE was the world's champion wrestler. On a recent appearance on Big Time Wrestling where he wrestled Mac the Masher he was quoted as saying, I am the Greatest. LENNA BICKEL is Editor of the Arcadia Tattler and has a syndicated column in several newspapers. KAREN BULKOWSKI is still signing books out at Arcadia Public Library which is not the largest library in the United States. I .TACK GROSSMAN has become Agent 86 . He lives in danger and in his words, loving it. Would you believe tolerating it? I asked Sharon where the action was in Arcadia and she suggested DDT's Discotheque. The place was really alive when I entered. The owner, DAN TYSON, walked up but I didn't recognize him because of his long. curly locks. HILDA KINGERY was really moving to the music of the famous musical group, The Dead. GLENN WAGGONER was on bass guitar, CHUCK METZBER on lead, TOM GRAUMLICH on the drums, while CHUCK LOWERY wailed out their latest hit, I Met Her in a Cemetery. y KAREN COLE, RAE MARIE MYERS, BARB KNEPPER, SHARON BINGER, and SHARON CRUSE were sitting at a table enjoying the music. I journeyed over to their table and inquired about what they had been up to the last ten years. Karen was spending her last night in the states. She had enlisted in the army and was being sent to Germany to inspect the troops. Before she could undertake this assignments she had to take special training in self-defense. Rae Marie had just completed medical school and was setting up her own practice as a lip specialist. Barb has been making her livlihood as a fashion designer and originator of the total cover look. As a 120 pound model she exhibits and wears many of her own creations. Sharon Binger is a Professor at Berkely and is teaching the course of How to Riot Suc- cessfully. Sharon Crouse has been painting canvases in abstract art. Her latest master piece is entitled, Whistler's Cow, which sold for a mere 954.000, There was a big flash of a camera and I looked over to see what was taking place. I was flabbergasted to see BOB GROSSMAN. I went over to talk with Bob and learned that he was Editor of Playboy. He informed me that another of our classmates was just selected Bunny of the Month by his magazine. He seemed reluctant to say who it was but I managed to find out it was SALLIE HILE. It was getting late so I decided to go back to my hotel. Continued on Page 38
