CLASS HISTUHY On November 10, 1936. a very timid group of freshmen met in the gym to surrender themselves to a class of revengeful sopho- mores. Led by our class ofhcers, Mike Haskell and Dorothy Drake, we were cruelly initi- ated with garlic and scabs. ln Our sophomore year we were avenged when we in turn initiated that year's new- comers. We were led then by Joe Decker and Beverly Norton. As Juniors, under the leadership of Joe Decker and Phyllis Frantz, we blossomed into activity. Our undertakings included the Junior Dance of November 4, and Silverno the Magician. Our last and crowning achieve- ment of that year was our gift to the Seniors, the Junior-Senior Banquet. Phyllis Frantz ably presided as toast mistress. As dignified and sophisticated Seniors, we chose as our class OHicers, Barbara Smith, Dorothy Drake, Barney Harrison, and Donald Clark. Activity this year included several dances which varied in financial suc- cess. Much effort was put into the successful presentation of our Senior Play Dictator Dad, graciously directed by Miss Harris.
