She has an active part in almost every activity she enters. WAVERA GILPIN, drum maior forthe last two years, has received the title of Best-All-Round for the past two years. She received the Da n to rth Foundation Award for the girl show- ing the most leadership ability in her four years of high school. Who Ten outstanding students are select- ed each year by the faculty, on the basis -of leadership, dependability, courtesy, scholarship, and participa- tion in school activities. This is one of the highest honors a high school student can receive. - JANIE MAYER was winner of first place at state in short hand. Her friendly smile and charm have won her many honors, among them the title of Miss Personality. TINA GRI-STY has been Mr. Popu- larity for the last three years. JACKIE ALMON, Editor ofthe Pan- ther Prowl, is dependable and capa- ble. She is Valedictorian of the 1954 Senior Class, and is successful in all that she attempts. She has been named to Who's Who for three conse- cutive years. LESLEY SMITH is the only Junior to attain the Who's Who honor this year. Her cheerful and courteous disposition makes her afavorite with all classmates.
